Circle of Life Cylindraphone
The Cylindraphone is what I call it. It is an Idiophone:( an instrument the whole of which vibrates to produce a sound when struck, shaken, or scraped, such as a bell, gong, or rattle.)
it is made from an old propane tank, the kind you use on your grill. the top and bottom are welded together, and tongues of various lengths and widths are cut into the upper side. it is laboriously tuned, and when its done just right, it is AWESOME! Believe me, each of my Cylindraphones are ONE OF A KIND. You won’t find another like it anywhere!

This particular Cylidraphone i’ve entitled “Circle of Life” Each of the eleven notes is decorated with the foot or hoof print of a different African animal and I’ve tune it purposefully to play the classic song “Circle of Life”
